Leaving daily worries behind, you could join it in a perfect harmony - the nature, you and the backpack on your shoulders. Why not a bike too? The magical mountain with its fascinating cliffs, views and the peaks Vezhen, Maragidik, Shipka, Botev welcome all mountaineers. Follow the path of the sun, starting from Tryavna, surrounded by thick coniferous forests, across sunny Gabrovo, via Apriltsi set in the very heart of the mountain, by ancient Via Trayana Roman road to Troyan and then to Teteven, beautifully located on both banks of the Vit river. Qualified mountain guides are available for those who wish to be in the company of experienced mountaineers. Sheer cliffs, precipices and picturesque caves in vicinities of Troyan and Teteven are real challenge to those seeking the thrills of climbing. The tourist information offices in each town offer a wide range of hiking and cycling tours in the mountain and rent a bike.
